Postulate: "Simultaneous conversations through separate channels between two or more people will stay separate as if no other conversation occurs until a party actively joins two or more"
Or, in other words, If two people are talking on the phone while chatting on Facebook while texting, etc. They can and WILL be talking about wildly different things on each and never once acknowledge the existence of any other conversation between them unless someone notes this curious situation.
It's like you're talking/chatting/texting different people at the same time, as no information jumps channels.
This was noted in early 2010 on a Blackberry Messenger/Twitter/MsnMessenger tri-conv with Adriana Pisani (who will be cropping up in tons of laws), breaking the virtual inter-conversation walls and consequentially analyzing the phenomenon on BBMsn and coming up with this postulate, try it out!.
